Hi Laura,
Just wanted to thank you again
for all your efforts in helping
us pull off the BEST surprise
birthday party for my sister.
We received so many
compliments on the atmosphere,
food, service ... everything was
really wonderful. I definitely
think you'll have some of our
guests return and
even become regulars. My sister
was really blown away ... I
don't think we could have found
a better place for our event!
Thanks again and we'll be back
to 55 degrees very soon!

Great wine, great food!
I went to this wine bar/bistro
recently because I often drive
by but had never had a chance to
stop in before. I was pleasantly
surprised...not only do they
have a very wide selection of
really good wines, but the food
is also fantastic. The service
was excellent, with great
recommendations on what wine to
pair with which food item. It
was a wonderful experience...I
think this place is a great find
but it's easy to miss because
it's in a shopping center and
often overlooked.

Hi Laura,
Thank you for a wonderful evening
and event. I was disappointed at the
small showing, but I think the group
preferred it as it allowed easy
interaction with each other and
Chris. Speaking of Chris, he was as
great as you said he would be. Very
easy going, very friendly, and very
knowledgeable.
We thoroughly enjoyed it, and I
would not hesitate to bring in
another group for a wine tasting.
Very worthwhile.

Dropped
in for a glass of wine on a Friday night around
6:30 and ended up staying all night listening to
a gentleman sing Sinatra! Lovely place,
informative staff, delicious food, and cozy
couches. My kind of place! And totally not
cougarville. Bonus!

Likes it - I met
some girlfriends at 55 Degrees for a night out on
Saturday, and jazz saxophonist, Steve Brummet, was
playing there. OMG! We had the BEST time. Not only
was the service great and the prices affordable, but
the entertainment was great! I will definitely
recommend 55 Degrees to all of my friends.
JUNE 24th.
If you are the owner of 55 Degrees I have to thank
you for bringing this special place to Plano. We
just "discovered" it and are thrilled that we can go
listen to live music, have a glass of wine (or two),
some food and conversation in a pleasant adult
atmosphere. I think you'll probably see us there
every weekend. So far, the music has been great,
and
that's what makes the place so special. We have
been telling all
our
friends about 55 Degrees and hope you are around for
a long, long time. Your wait staff is great too -
very pleasant and accommodating.

wine bar worth checking out"
The past
couple weeks I've been hitting up a
newish wine bar called 55 degrees in
Plano....near Preston and Parker in the shopping center
behind Jason's
Deli... It's a
mom and pop owned place. Great wine list and decent
prices (you can always get a glass of 14 Hands for $5)..they
also serve beer and champagne, also reasonably priced... The food
is excellent...and you can even order 1/2 a
salad....great cheese choices along with
Panini's
and flat breads. The desserts looked great - We had the
crème
Brule last time, and
it's wonderful. Just
wanted to get the word out, because
i don't think they do much
advertising. and the
place really is worth a look. If I remember right there
aren't any other wine bars in that immediate area.....
Also...forgot - they have live music most Thursdays, and
Friday -Saturday.

September 02, 2008 - 55 Degrees
has VERY reasonable prices (for both food and wine) and stellar
service. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is
fantastic. The portions are plenty to share and the wine list
has something for everyone. I think it's great to find a very
economical glass of wine on the menu and still have the option
to splurge and be able to buy an expensive glass without having
to purchase the whole bottle! 55 Degrees is definitely one of
the up and coming restaurants in the metroplex! Don't miss it!

Likes it - It's been
open 6 weeks, was dark and quaint, great music and
wonderful food. Not a large food menu, but an extensive
wine menu and beer drinks. They have couches, tables,
and bar seating. Great staff with wonderful customer
service!! Very clean and swanky-epitome of Plano! Live
music starts in a few weeks! Thanks for a marvelous
night out and a reason to dress up!

Likes it - If you're
looking for a great place to hang out with some friends.
This is the Place! Great wine selection and Great Food!
They have nice wines for every price range and a great
by the glass variety. I’ve been here a few times with
different groups of friends and everyone LOVES it.

the owner tonight, What a nice guy. He and his wife of
20 years opened this place. It is
great. Come on Plano!!!!!! It is a great place!
